How to make jerky on the cheep

3 pounds of 1/4 inch sliced beef with fat cut off. or what ever kind of meat you have. chicken,duck,bear, deer, elk, beaver ,coon,coyote,domestic cat,dog squirrel,rat,shark,salmon ,etc.LOL
3/4 cup of soy sauce.Or terriaki sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 ts of onion powder
1 Ts of garlic
1 Ts of course ground pepper
1/4 ts of liquid smoke.

combine all liquid ingredients with dry ingredients. stir.
In a glass bowl pour over meat and fold in.
Let set in a refrigerator over night. stir several times over a 24hr period.
take out bowl. drain. pat dry and put into a dehydrator set for 155-185 degrees. Or in an oven rack on low.
dry till leathery. cool and eat or store in canning jars or plastic bags.

Commercial jerky is about $10-14 a pound.
Do it your self and save BIG $$$.
and you know whats in it and where it came from.
